Stalingrado, el ocaso del III Reich

Entre agosto de 1942 y febrero de 1943, tuvo lugar el enfrentamiento bélico entre la Unión Soviética y el III Reich alemán junto a sus aliados por el control de la ciudad de Stalingrado. El objetivo principal era el acceso a los pozos petrolíferos del Cáucaso. A pesar de llegar a controlar casi toda la ciudad, una gran contraofensiva soviética permitió el embolsamiento del 6º ejército alemán y su rendición final.
